Day 1 | Arrival
Colombo - Sigiriya
Upon landing at Colombo’s Bandaranaike International Airport, enjoy a fast-track transfer and welcome by your dedicated &Beyond representative. Board your private charter flight for a breathtaking 30‑minute journey over lush, tropical landscapes to Sigiriya.
Upon arrival, a comfortable ground transfer brings you to the charming Water Garden Sigiriya, your serene base for the next two nights nestled in the heart of Sri Lanka’s Cultural Triangle.
Day 2
Sigiriya
Rise early for an unforgettable pre-dawn drive to the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Walk through the meticulously landscaped Royal Gardens and ascend towards the summit where only ruins of the royal palace now remain. A visit to the fresco gallery with its ancient paintings of the King’s maids in waiting and the Mirror Wall should also not be missed. Return to your hotel for a hearty breakfast before enjoying a leisurely afternoon, or opt for an exhilarating safari to spot Asian elephant in the nearby Hurulu National Park.
Day 3
Thirappane
After a relaxing breakfast, set off on a scenic one‑hour drive to Thirappane where you’ll check in at Uga Ulagalla, a luxurious boutique retreat on a sprawling estate that blends nostalgic charm with modern comforts. Later, venture out to explore the ruins of Anuradhapura, an ancient city steeped in history and spirituality that dates back millennia.
Day 4
Thirappane
Enjoy a tranquil morning breakfast surrounded by the expansive 58-acre gardens at Uga Ulagalla before spending the day at your own pace. Whether you choose to relax amid the lush scenery or engage in a curated in‑house experience, the day promises relaxation and a deeper insight into Sri Lanka’s rich culture. As the evening approaches, savour a memorable ‘Kamatha’ dinner at a table set in a rice paddy, where traditional flavours are reimagined and presented with a contemporary twist. These thoughtful multi-course meals incorporate vegetables harvested at Uga Ulagalla’s organic farm, lake fish and free-range meats sourced locally, with traditional breads and old-world rice, the signature crop of Uga Ulagalla.
Day 5
Hanthana
Begin your day with breakfast before transferring to the domestic airport for a private charter flight from Anuradhapura to Kandy’s scenic Victoria Reservoir.
Upon landing, you’ll be transferred to Kandy on a one-hour drive. Explore the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic — a UNESCO World Heritage site — and then continue to the serene W15 Hanthana Estate, shrouded in misty hills.
Day 6
Hanthana
Take your time this morning with a leisurely breakfast, then let the serene atmosphere of the Hanthana hills rejuvenate you. Whether partaking in in‑house activities or simply soaking in the panoramic views, this day is all about relaxation in tranquil surroundings.
Day 7
Hatton
After breakfast, set off on a short drive to the famed Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden, where a vibrant collection of tropical flora awaits. Next, transfer to Victoria Reservoir to board your charter flight to Hatton’s Castlereagh Reservoir. Upon landing, the tea bungalow team will welcome you to Ceylon Tea Trails — a luxurious retreat set among rolling tea plantations in the highlands.
Day 8
Hatton
Begin with a fresh breakfast and join a guided tea experience tour at Ceylon Tea Trails. Follow in the footsteps of old Ceylon planters, witness traditional tea plucking and processing, and enjoy a tasting session that reveals the rich flavours of locally grown tea. The day’s activities are designed to immerse you in the island’s heritage and culinary traditions.
Day 9
Tangalle
After breakfast, prepare for a scenic air transfer from Hatton to Koggala on a private charter flight. A comfortable, air‑conditioned vehicle will then take you on a 90‑minute ride to Tangalle, where you’ll check in at Taru Villas Mawella, a boutique beachfront villa blending contemporary design with traditional Sri Lankan hospitality.
Day 10
Thirappane
Spend a relaxing morning at your beautiful beach property in Tangalle.
Optional: Enjoy surfing in nearby Hiriketiya Bay, a horseshoe-shaped haven popular with both beginner and experienced surfers. Known for its warm waters, consistent waves, and laid-back vibe, Hiriketiya blends Sri Lankan charm with a vibrant surf culture.
In the afternoon, transfer to Galle. En route, stop to witness the iconic stilt fishermen along the Weligama coastline—a traditional method still practiced today, with fishermen perched on stilts above the water waiting patiently for their catch.
Upon arrival in Galle, explore the historic Dutch Fort on a guided walking tour. Built in 1663, this UNESCO World Heritage Site is a 36-hectare enclave of colonial architecture, narrow laneways, cafes, boutiques, and family homes. End your visit with a stroll along the Ramparts at sunset, enjoying panoramic views of the ocean.
Return to Taru Villas – Mawella for the night.
Day 11
Tangalle
Savour a delicious breakfast before spending a full day at leisure by the golden shores of Tangalle. Whether you prefer lounging on the beach or exploring the local area at your own pace, the day is yours to enjoy coastal tranquillity.
Day 12
Kotugoda
After breakfast, transfer to Weerawila Domestic Airport for your private charter flight back to Colombo. Upon arrival, experience an exclusive Colombo City Walk that takes you through bustling markets, historic forts and colonial architecture. Your day concludes with a transfer to Kotugoda, where you’ll spend your final Sri Lankan night at The Wallawwa — a beautifully restored colonial manor offering personalised butler service and a perfect place from which to reflect on your wonderful trip.
Day 13 | Departure
Colombo
Enjoy your final breakfast at The Wallawwa before a comfortable transfer to Bandaranaike International Airport. Take in the many experiences — cultural, natural and luxurious — that have made your journey through Sri Lanka truly unforgettable.
